Birth in a Home Setting We offer a way for families from Alabama to have an out-of-hospital experience in a private residence in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This will be your home birth away from home. Chattanooga is a little more than a two hour drive from Birmingham, and the Birth Wellness home is located right off the freeway. Services with Birth Wellness include complete prenatal, birth and postpartum care, water birth (optional), nutritional and herbal counseling, PKU testing for your baby and a birth certificate. We provide ongoing information to women and families throughout the pregnancy, birth and postpartum period so that they can make the best informed decisions concerning their care. Our care is compassionate, personalized and geared toward making birth work for families in Alabama. We offer prenatal visits and postpartum followup care in Birmingham. We will see mothers in the Chattanooga office at least once during their pregnancy. Please call for more information. |
